Review: Kaffemisjonen

“As is a tale, so is life: Not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters”

Price of a cappuccino: £4

Time on the clock: 15:03

3 things I see: The boss is in (He makes the best coffee!), plants I assume aren’t coffee plants, but they give that feel, loads of people on their computers.

3 things I hear: The faint macbook tap tap-tap tap, steam from the steamer, roadworkers outside.

3 things I feel: Hipster, appreciative of the minimalist feel of the shop, lucky to be here when the boss is in (!)

I have been a fan of Kaffemisjonen since I started drinking coffee back in 2001. Somehow I always thought it was a ‘Christian charity shop café’. Probably due to just seeing the ‘misjonen’ (missionaries) in the name when passing. Silly nilly.

They serve top notch coffee, have loads of different beans and brew methods, they’re not afraid of trying new things, in fact I believe that’s what drives and inspires this team. This is truly a haven for coffee lovers.

Share a V60 / chemex with friends, grab a takeaway black coffee on your way to work or enjoy a frenchpress over your morning newspaper. They have the mood and the skill to make each visit perfection, what ever you need.
Final verdict: 5/6 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
